Who we are

The Belgian Aeromodelling League (LBA-BML) is the organisation taking care of all aeromodeling competitions in Belgium and for Belgian pilots abroad.

The Belgian Aeromodelling League is managed by a board of eight members, emanating from the two regional federations of Belgian aeromodelling clubs:

  • Association d'Aéromodélisme (AAM) in the French and German speaking parts of the country
  • Vereniging voor Modelluchtvaartsport (VML) for the Dutch speaking part of the country

    • The LBA-BML is member of the Royal Belgian Aeroclub (ACRB-KBAC), the federation of all Belgian Air Sports, member of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI).

    The LBA-BML represents the Belgian aeromodellers at the National Airspace Authority (DGTA-DGLv)

    Altogether, the Belgian Aero modelling League counts about 5000 members, evenly spread over all regions of our country.

    The LBA-BML website moved to a new infrastructure based on the last React-based Plone distribution. Please contact our webmaster to obtain the rights to edit the content specific to your section. Once logged in with your credentials, you can look for the tutorials to learn how to improve your skills in using the website. Recording of training sessions by Zoom are also available here (10-04-25 and 14-04-25). Large files, please be patient !
