Legal status
The Belgian Aeromodelers league is a non-profit organisation according to the Belgian law. The annual general meeting (AGM) is the upper level of autority within the League. Its annual meeting has full powers about the non-profit organisation. AGM reports are available here.

Mission
The Belgian Aeromodeling League is a coordinating organ between the two regional Belgian aeromodeling federations (AAM and VML ) and a contact organ towards the Belgian Aero-Club and the FAI. It
- organises the national aeromodeling sporting season- coordinates regional activities
- represents aeromodeling at the Belgian AeroClub and the FAI
Sport sections
The league consists of 15 distinct sections organised around specific specialities or categories mostly inspired by the FAI Sporting Code section 4. Each section is administered by a Coordinator. On the flying field, during the competitions, the principal autority is in the hands of a Sport Director. Two such directors are in principle active in each section, corresponding to the regional federation (Flemish or Walloon region) whose club has taken up the organisation of the contest.
Sports calendar
Over the year, each section organises in principle a minimum of four competitions taken into account for the Belgian Championship of the category. The national calendar is available online, as well as in the "Events" part of this site.
Anti-Doping regulations
The FAI is a full member of the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) and therefore, all participants to FAI-sanctioned events are subject to the anti-doping program of the WADA.
