The annual general meeting of all club delegates of the Belgian Aeromodelers League will take place in the "Ontmoetingcentrum Hofstade" situated Zemstsesteenweg 15 in 1981 Hofstade (Zemst). A large parking is available in the close vicinity of the meeting room. The bar is open during the whole day and sandwiches are available for lunch.
During the morning, we will have the traditional conclusion of the 2008 sporting season, the introduction of the 2009 sporting season and the proclamation of the laureates of the 2008 Belgian Aeromodeling Championships.
Along with this celebration, we will also issue for the first time the PETER BLOMMAART Challenge to the team who won the first edition of the Nine-to-Five Electroflight Team Relay Race, a revised version of the "Sunrise-Sunset" Electroflight relay race introduced more than 20 years ago by Peter Blommaart. This year, the winning team of the contest that was organised by the Model Club du Chaufour was "Les Libellules" from Hotton.
We will also have the introduction of the Belgian aeromodelers who have been selected during 2008 to participate at the 2009 World Air Games.
During the afternoon, all sections of the League will meet to prepare the 2009 sporting season.
